End of October in Real Estate news........

Well it is the end of October and the real estate market in Rapid City and the Black Hills is still very active. Interest rates have remained very low and I am showing lots of properties to lots of buyers. I appreciate all and any comments to this blog and hope you find it useful.
During the month of September 2005, there were 140 new residential listings in and around the Rapid City area. The total # of homes for sale is 601 which includes new construction, town homes, mobile homes, etc. 217 homes have sold or are under contract. Avg. price of a home in the Black Hills is $154,037 with an average of 54 days on the market. Sellers have been receiving 98.63% of their asking price.
